Terms of Service for Dog Shows and Sports Photography

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking services with Visions Dog Show and Sports Photography, you agree to comply with these terms. These terms may be updated at any time, and the latest version will be posted on our website or provided upon request.

2. Booking and Payment

- A deposit may be required to secure your booking.

- Full payment is due before or on the day of the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.

- Payments are non-refundable except in cases of cancellation by the photographer or unforeseen circumstances as outlined in Section 6.

3. Event Coverage

- The photographer will make every effort to capture key moments as requested but cannot guarantee specific shots due to the unpredictable nature of live events.

- Clients must provide a schedule or list of priority shots before the event.

- The photographer reserves the right to use their professional judgment for angles, lighting, and composition.

4. Image Delivery

- Edited photos will be delivered within the agreed timeframe, typically 2-4 days after the event unless otherwise specified.

- Images will be delivered digitally through an online gallery or other agreed methods.

- Raw or unedited images are not included unless specified in writing and may incur additional charges.

5. Usage Rights

- Clients are granted a non-exclusive license to use the photos for personal, promotional, or non-commercial purposes.

- Commercial use requires additional licensing and must be discussed in advance.

- The photographer retains copyright and may use images for portfolio, marketing, or promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

- Cancellations must be made in writing at least 7 days before the event for a partial refund of the deposit (if applicable).

- Rescheduling is subject to the photographer's availability and may incur additional fees.

- If the photographer is unable to attend due to illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances, all payments will be refunded, or a replacement photographer may be arranged.

7. Client Responsibilities

- Clients are responsible for providing access to the event venue and ensuring the photographer is aware of any restrictions or requirements.

- Clients must ensure that participants and organizers consent to being photographed.

8. Liability

- The photographer is not liable for circumstances beyond their control, such as weather, venue restrictions, or technical failures.

- Liability is limited to the amount paid for services.

9. Indemnification

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the photographer from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from the use of the photos or from issues related to event access or permissions.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration before pursuing legal action. Both parties agree to act in good faith to resolve disputes amicably.

11. Governing Law
